Hello There!

 

I’m a lover of vintage fashion and  I particularly like the ladies and gents fashion styles from the mid 20th Century, with the 1930s – 1950s being my main interests.

I’m an avid knitter and seamstress and have been interested in textiles my whole life. I have some experience of working in the textile industry in the UK and have been hand knitting since being a small girl. Based in Nottingham, once home of the world famous Nottingham lace industry and the knitting frame, textiles is in the very fabric of my bones.

​​

Hand knitting is so different to machine knitting - it's a return to a stripped-back way of creating garments. Hand knitting can be a relaxing way to reconnect with the beauty, skill and satisfaction of garment making and construction using the basic tools of two needles and a ball of yarn. 

​
